Bulgarian experience
In the period 11 – 14 March 2024. in the city of Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria, a third meeting was held for the exchange of experience with the partners of the project "CLASSROOM IN NATURE and NATURE IN CLASSROOM - "CIN"" under the ERASMUS + program with the coordinator Slovenia. Turkey and Slovenia took part in the meeting. Each school was represented by a working team of three teachers from Turkey and five teachers from Slovenia, as stipulated in the project, as a mobility to exchange experience. From IV Primary School, Blagoevgrad, teachers Rositsa Chausheva, Mediha Topalova, Elena Popova, Mihaela Stamboliyska, Georgi Botev, Yordanka Stankova, Spas Gegov, Daniela Boeva, Vanya Arshinkova, Ruska Ishtalova, Dafinka participated in the meeting related to the exchange of experience and prepared the reception of the groups. Georgieva, Angel Marchev, Elena Marcheva, Gergana Raynova and others. They participated both in the preparation and in the presentations and activities related to the participants prepared by the program and visits to their lessons - open lessons for exchange of experience.
Mrs. Rositsa Chausheva, as the coordinator of the project for Bulgaria, prepared the complete program for the receptions, organized transport, lunches, dinners, excursions, games and all the necessary documents for the project.
Miss Mediha Topalova took an active part in the development and arrangement of the certificates of participation, as well as the preparation and presentation of a presentation related to the development of STEM lessons (internal qualification training).
Miss Mihaela Stamboliyska organized 4 open lessons on "Mental Arithmetic" and working with children with educational needs, Mr. Botev showed lessons with innovative techniques in art and made an Art-studio for the teachers, making and creating together.
Mrs. Elena Popova together with Stoyka Ilieva participated actively, demonstrating together with the 4A class a STEM open lesson on oral hygiene, having made a mouth on which they showed various techniques and knowledge for protecting the oral cavity and teeth. They also presented and asked questions to both students and guests in the open lesson.
Mr. Spas Gegov together with Mrs. Gergana Raynova showed an interdisciplinary lesson in geography and mathematics related to scales and mapping, and Mrs. Yordanka Stankova together with Mr. Gegov participated in an interdisciplinary lesson between the subjects of Geography and Biology. There they demonstrated volcanic eruptions as natural environmental pollutants.
There were open lessons with Mrs. Boeva - speech therapist and Mrs. Arshinkova. Mrs. Mediha Topalova opened the doors for open STEM lessons in mathematics and informatics.
The biggest surprise was the English lesson that Mrs. Maya Bergant demonstrated in class 3A. On her own initiative, she demonstrated how the English lessons were conducted in her classes, and the students were delighted by her energy and method of breaking up the class.
After completing the daily observations, the guests had lunch prepared by teachers in the school canteen. After lunch during their free time, they had a walk to the central part of the city of Blagoevgrad.
In the evening, a gala dinner was organized, which was attended by some of the colleagues from the Bulgarian school and all the guests.
On the last two days of the visit, the guests visited the cities of Bansko, Dobrinishte, Melnik and the area of Rupite. Fascinated by the organization and the visits, they shared that they would visit our town and school again.
And we have a trip with students to the city of Ljubljana in June.
