In the period 08 - 12. 01. 2023 in the city of Izmir, Turkey, a second meeting of the partners of the project "CLASSROOM IN NATURE and NATURE IN CLASSROOM - "CIN"" was held under the ERASMUS + program with the coordinator Slovenia. Teachers from Bulgaria, Slovenia and Turkey took part in the job shadwing meeting. Each school was represented by the work team of three teachers from Bulgaria and four from Slovenia, as laid down in the project. From IV OU, Blagoevgrad, teachers Rositsa Chausheva, Angelina Stoyanova and Dafinka Georgieva attended the meeting related to the exchange of experience.
On 07.01.2023 at 7:00 a.m. by bus of a licensed company, the group left for Turkey. All the teachers and teachers crossed the border without any problems, complying with all the requirements for safe travel with the required number of breaks, we arrived in Izmir at 04.00 am the next day. By the evening, the colleagues from Slovenia arrived.
On 09.01.2023 (Monday) at 9.30 a.m., we were welcomed at the school - host to welcome students and by the director and presentation of the school. This was followed by introductions between the teachers and principals from all the schools - participants showing the activities carried out by the students, we took a walk around the school, which is located in two buildings and attended classes in the primary course, as well as the preparatory groups (kindergarten). We each entered different classrooms with a different teacher and lesson observation class, and it was interesting for us to observe how teachers in Turkey do in a classroom with more than 35 students and what teaching methods they have. At noon we had a break and lunch at the school, the lunch was prepared by parents of students who served it with and welcomed us to their school. After lunch we had a break and our hosts organized a tour around the old city of Izmir - Smyrna, as well as the famous and famous Kemeral Alti bazaar.
On 10.01.2023 (secondary) the whole group visited the famous and famous ancient city of Efes. We walked around the city with a guide who told us in detail about the history of one of the seven wonders of the world, and then we visited the ancient village of Sirintse, famous for its wine and olive groves.
On 11.01.2023 (Wednesday) From 9:00 am all the teachers visited and observed different lessons until the end of the classes, and we were strongly impressed by the great desire of the teachers to enter their classes. After the observations were completed, we had lunch prepared by the students' parents. After lunch, during our free time, we took a boat trip to the other central part of Izmir city, took a long walk along the waterfront and visited local vegetable and food markets, where we had the opportunity to try local vegetables and fruits, as well as some local specialties. In the evening we had an organized dinner, which was attended by some of the colleagues from the Turkish school and all the guests. The hosts had made an effort for us to attend a typical Turkish evening of music and dance, which impressed us greatly, due to the different and interesting style of music, dance and traditions.
On 12.01.2023 (Thursday) from 9:00 we had visits to the classrooms again, and in part of the art lessons we also took part, making bracelets with threads, and making drawings with a very interesting technique that we had never seen before. We immediately shared this technique with our art teachers at our school. At noon, we have lunch and the hosts surprised us with a cake made with the project's logo, which was a big surprise for all of us, we had a short meeting related to organizational issues regarding the next trip to Bulgaria and setting and preparing for the new tasks to be performed on the project. We also had an official ceremony to hand out the certificates to the participants on the evening of 12.01. 2023 we left
